I saw this posted in the 2nd round of the playoffs last yr. A poster said he was going to wager 5k to win 2k on pitt su ov nyj, line was pitt-9.5. Another poster suggested play a 6.5 teaser. the afternoon gm was atl -7 vs stl. This poster said put 2k on a pitt-2.5/atl-.5 teaser with would pay apprx $1900, then play $1900 on stl ml. So if pitt wins by a fg+, the worst you could do is break even, and at best, stl wins outright at +200 @$1900. My question is, would this be the wrong thing to do early in the season, when capping is tougher and you have only 1 strong play for the day. of course the lines have to work out where the 2nd gm has a winner and no push. Thank you.
